I have not been great about updating lately, so I thought I would do so now. In the last month since Christmas, Cameron and I continue to adjust well to our new life together. He cut 4 teeth, on the same day naturally. At least, I think there are 4 (2 upper and 2 lower) but he doesn't like to let me get a really good look. I started back to work and he started preschool. He seems to really enjoy being around other kids and seems to like the teachers. I'm happy with the arrangement so far. I had a tough time getting back into the swing of things at work but I'm getting back into it now.
Cameron has been responding to his name in the last few weeks and also seems to know the dog's name. He and Kelsey continue to do well around each other. He really likes to watch her wag her tail and likes her to kiss him on his head.
He is also becoming more and more active. I've noticed he reaches out more and grabs onto toys and things in front of him (like his food) more often. He also seems more curious about everything around him. He is also starting to eat small amounts of real, chunkier food. The changes he has made are incredible.
We are really settling into a routine. I feel so blessed to have this little man as my son. I cannot express into words the feeling. Life is so different and I wouldn't have it any other way.
We will celebrate his first birthday in a couple of weeks. I'll post pics.
